Associate Professor, and Chief and Medical Director of Ultrasound @University of Massachusetts Medical School – Baystate and Baystate Health
Dr. Daniel Kowal is the chief and medical director of ultrasound for the Baystate Health System centered in Springfield, Massachusetts. Fellowship trained at Massachusetts General Hospital, his primary career focus lies in abdominal imaging and teaching, and he is an associate professor at the University of Massachusetts Medical School – Baystate. He is the recipient of numerous teaching awards, and many of his video lectures can be found on his radiology education website Radiologist Headquarters (www.radiologistHQ.com), as well as on his YouTube channel and various podcasting services. His dedication to teaching is also reflected in the acclaimed Learning Radiology book series, where he has been a contributor and chapter author for the past three editions.
