- Learn the pathophysiology of the shared placenta leading to the various complications;
- Compare different screening approaches for the diagnosis of complications such as Twin-to-twin Transfusion Syndrome (TTTS) and Twin Anemia Polycythemia Sequence (TAPS); and
- Discuss options for selective termination in monochorionic twins.

Dr Joanne Stone has completed her residency and fellowship at Mount Sinai and stayed on as an attending. She has served as program and division director for more than 10 years and is passionate about teaching. Joanne has a special interest in prenatal diagnosis and ultrasound-guided procedures and has a special interest in twin gestations.
